Patrick L. Jones, Ph.D. / MBA   Principal and Founder

With over 30-years’ experience in public and private sector technology and business development, Pat brings his expertise in R&D, technology commercialization, product and project management to addressing his clients’ needs. Having worked as a senior manager in Research, International Marketing and Product Marketing, Pat has first-hand experience in bringing high technology products and software to market. As an expert in intellectual property management and technology commercialization, he understands the challenges and hurdles faced by organizations of all sizes as they work to make innovation a part of everyday business success.

A systems integrator by nature, Pat has worked with researchers, product developers, entrepreneurs, and seasoned management groups to build value-driven relationships both in the U.S. and internationally. He has negotiated research, joint development, intellectual property, and marketing agreements with a wide spectrum of corporations from start-ups to Fortune 500 corporations. Pat is a Past President of the Association of University Technology Managers, a former member of the Board of Governors of the Certified Licensing Professionals, and a Registered Technology Transfer Professional. He holds a Ph.D. in Chemical Physics from the University of Colorado, and an MBA from the University of Washington.
